P/T Administrative Assistant
Location: Washington, DC
Job Description:
Part-time administrative assistant needed for a dynamic, global business.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with a variety of administrative functions including but not limited to:
- Answer phones; screen and route calls; take and deliver messages accurately and promptly
- Schedule meetings
- Reconcile weekly expense accounts
- Manage office inventory
- Open, sort, and distribute mail; collect and sign for deliveries; prepare and drop-off parcel shipments
- Participate and assist with corporate functions and events
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of office assistant experience
- HS Graduate, Undergraduate degree a plus
- Must speak, read and write English.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of employees; ability to work collaboratively with peers and external contacts
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with good decision making skills
- Competent in the Microsoft Suite (Word, EXCEL, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-starter with flexibility to re-prioritize assignments as needed
- Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
